GCF Trust Fund financial report
As of the 30 July, available resources were at USD 2 billion. With the expectation these funds would be exhausted within two meetings, the Board requested an analysis of options for the remaining commitments by the next meeting.
Consideration of funding proposals - Pacific
Three funding proposals were on the agenda to be considered:
- FP083 - Tonga Renewable Energy Project under the Pacific Islands Renewable Energy Investment Program, Tonga (Accredited Entity – Asian Development Bank)
- FP084 - South Tarawa Water Supply Project, Kiribati (Accredited Entity - Asian Development Bank)
- FP088 - Biomass Energy Programme in the South Pacific, Fiji & Papua New Guinea (Accredited Entity – Korea Development Bank)
Due to administration matters, no projects were reviewed or approved during the meeting.
The B.21 Board meeting will be held in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain from the 17 – 20 October 2018.
