Established in the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) in 2002, the Micronesia Conservation Trust (MCT) supports biodiversity conservation, climate change adaptation and related sustainable development for the people of the FSM, Republic of Palau, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, and the US Territory of Guam.  Support from MCT goes primarily to conservation NGOs and community-based organizations in the region.  The organization’s vision and mission statements are as follows:  Vision:  Enduring Partnerships that conserve our land and sea to improve quality of like for communities across Micronesia. Mission: We build partnerships, raise and manage funds, make grants, influence policy, and provide conservation and financing expertise.
